$18.00

Inspired by traditional woodland herbalism, this salve combines two distinctive North American botanicals in a rich, conditioning herbal balm. Featuring black walnut hulls and jewelweed infused into nourishing extra virgin olive oil, this formula celebrates the traditional use of locally familiar plants in skin-care.

Ingredients: black walnut, jewelweed, tea tree essential oil, castor oil, extra virgin olive oil, vitamin e oil, beeswax, shea butter, arrowroot powder.

Directions: apply to affected area, avoid getting into eyes and mouth. Patch test recommended.

Black Walnut Hulls: Harvested from the outer green husks of the black walnut tree (Juglans nigra), black walnut hulls contain naturally occurring tannins, polyphenols, and naphthoquinones, including juglone. These compounds contribute to the hulls' distinctive dark coloration and astringent botanical character. Black walnut has a rich history in North American folk herbalism, where its hulls have been incorporated into a variety of traditional body care.

Jewelweed: A familiar sight in moist woodlands and along shaded creek banks, jewelweed (Impatiens capensis) is recognizable for its delicate orange flowers. It contains naturally occurring plant polyphenols and has a longstanding place in North American folk herbal preperations.

Extra virgin olive oil and castor oil provide a rich, emollient foundation for the botanical infusion, helping to soften and condition the skin.

Shea butter and beeswax create a protective, moisture-retaining texture, helping the skin feel soft and supple.

Vitamin E oil contributes antioxidant properties to the formula, as well as serving as a preservative

Tea tree essential oil, derived from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia, contains aromatic compounds including terpinen-4-ol. Its fresh, herbaceous scent complements the earthy botanical vibe of black walnut and jewelweed.
