Alcohol tinctures have a nearly indefinite shelf life when kept in optimal conditions (kept room temperature to cool and out of direct sunlight), but they can be pretty harsh on the taste buds! Vegetable glycerine based tinctures have a sweet, syrupy taste but a shorter shelf life, though they still can last up to three years if kept in a cool cabinet or refrigerator out of direct sunlight. Oil tinctures are easily palatable and have the added health benefits of cold pressed, organic, extra virgin olive oil, but it may not be optimal for those who are watching caloric intake.

All tea blends are gluten and sugar free unless otherwise specified. The tea blends that contain honey crystals do have the sugar from the honey. All caffeinated tea blends will say so in their product listing information.

Some mild bubbling can be expected from the natural fermentation process, but high pressure when the lid is opened or fizzing/bubbling over means definite spoilage. While we examine the expiry dates before shipping, sometimes an issue with the lid cap or being exposed to too much heat during shipping can cause spoilage. Any slimy texture or sulfuric smell also indicates spoilage. Please reach out to us if you suspect an issue with your fire cider.

While herbal tea doesn’t technically spoil, the flavor and medicinal potency can weaken over time, so we suggest using the tea within 2 years.

All of our products that do not contain honey or beeswax are vegan.

If proof of damage is provided you will receive a full refund for your order, with the exception of melted salve.

We highly recommend placing the salve in the refrigerator for a couple of hours before opening it if you’ve ordered during the summer months, as some melting is expected and unavoidable in high heat. However, if your salve has leaked or is otherwise unusable, please send us a photo and we will issue you a 75% refund.

We typically ship orders within one to two days, with the expectation of it being over the weekend or a holiday. If something occurs and we think it may be delayed, we will reach out via your provided email address and let you know.
