Lymph Support Double Extracted Organic Herbal Tincture or Glycerite

from $27.50

Our Lymph Support tincture is made with a blend of specially blended herbs that have been used throughout history to support the lymphatic system, as they are believed to have cleansing and restorative properties. Continue reading below for more information on each herb and why we’ve chosen it for this formula.

Available in your choice of a tincture made with 80+ proof grain-free alcohol or glycerite with sweet vegetable glycerine. Our tinctures are processed for 8-10 weeks.

Ingredients: Cleavers, yellow dock, dandelion root, burdock root, pau d’arco, cloves, 80+ proof menstruum, or vegetable glycerine and distilled water.

Directions: 20-30 drops up to 3 times a day, may mix with an ounce of water or juice. We recommend starting with one dose a day and working up to 3.

Warning: Use with caution if on anticoagulants and diuretics. Do not consume if pregnant or nursing.

Cleavers (Galium Aparine) also known as ‘sticky weed’ is a prolific climbing herb traditionally associated with lymphatic wellness and commonly featured in herbal cleansing formulas.

Yellow Dock (Rumex Crispus) a long, yellow colored root that is sometimes called ‘curly dock’, is an herbal bitter with a history of association with multiple systems, particularly lymphatic and digestive.

Dandelion Root (Taraxacum) very familiar herb that’s been valued for generations in herbalism as a digestive bitter, as well as a general detoxifier.

Burdock Root (Arctium Lappa) An earthy, nutrient-containing root traditionally incorporated into herbal tonics, known has a supportive herb and gentle digestive bitter.

Pau D'arco (Tabeuia Impetiginosa) is commonly found in herbal system cleansers, as compounds in it have been studied for their potential anti-fungal properties.

Cloves is an aromatic spice rich in plant compounds, particularly eugenol, which has been studied for its potential anti-septic and anti-parasitic properties.

When tincturing herbs in alcohol, we can sometimes miss out on the beneficial constituents. To achieve maximum extraction from our herbs, barks or roots, we need a double- extraction process. This is a two step process in which we first macerate the plant material in alcohol for 6-8 weeks. Once the tincture liquid is decanted we start the double extraction process using distilled water. This draws out water-soluble constituents and any other alcohol that may have been left behind in step one. This second extraction uses heat to help liberate other compounds out depending on the plant material giving our tinctures the most benefits possible.

Packaged in amber or blue colored boston round dropper bottles for UV light protection. Bottle is shipped with a screw on cap and plastic seal for ultimate leak protection during shipping.
