Ingredients: wood betony, St. John’s wort, comfrey root and leaf, mullein root, arnica, copaiba essential oil, peppermint essential oil, lavender essential oil, castor oil, arrowroot powder, extra virgin olive oil, shea butter, beeswax, vitamin e oil

Wood Betony (Stachys Officinalis) supports overall nerve health and is a mild analgesic (pain reliever) anti-inflammatory that helps to ease tension that may worsen nerve pain. Wood Betony is specifically thought to aid with the burning, tingling, and pins and needles sensation that often accompanies nerve pain.

St. John’s Wort (HypericumPerforatum) soothes nerve pain, irritation from viral infections such as herpes/shingles, burns, wounds and general body pain. It also contains antibacterial properties that can help prevent infection and anti-inflammatory properties to calm down skin irritation.

Comfrey (Symphytum Officinale) is especially helpful when nerve discomfort results from tissue damage, inflammation, or slow healing. It’s traditionally known as ‘Knitbone’ because it is believed to support tissue repair and cellular regeneration.

Mullein Root (Verbascum Thapsus) has been used in traditional folk medicine specifically for radiating nerve discomfort, as it is thought to be a powerful anti-inflammatory herb that may help to reduce nerve compression, irritation, and pain.

Arnica (Arnica Montana) is widely used topically for pain relief and may help reduce swelling that can irritate nearby nerves. It contains both pain relieving and anti-inflammatory properties.

Copaiba Essential Oil contains strong analgesic (pain-relieving) and anti-inflammatory properties. It can be specifically supportive for nerve pain when combined with St. John’s wort and mullein root.

Lavender Essential Oil is soothing to the skin, smells amazing, and even contains pain relieving and anti-inflammatory properties!

Peppermint Essential Oil offers a soothing, cooling sensation to ease tingling and burning resulting from nerve issues.

Castor oil, with it’s ability to penetrate deeper into the skin than other oils, is the carrier in this salve.
