A richly infused salve featuring a distinctive combination of traditional herbs, nourishing oils, and aromatic essential oils. This specialized formula brings together wood betony, St. John's wort, comfrey, mullein root, and arnica, each selected for its unique botanical characteristics.
Wood Betony: A member of the mint family, wood betony contains naturally occurring rosmarinic acid, tannins, and other plant polyphenols. Historically regarded as a highly versatile nervine herb, it takes a central role in this salve.
St. John's Wort: Recognized for its bright yellow flowers, St. John's wort contains compounds such as hypericin and hyperforin. Its flowers have a longstanding place in herbal oil infusions.
Comfrey Root & Leaf: Sometimes called "knitbone" in historical herbal literature, comfrey contains allantoin, rosmarinic acid, and mucilaginous compounds. Its leaves and roots have traditionally been incorporated into thick herbal oils, balms, and poultices.
Mullein Root: While mullein's soft, fuzzy leaves and golden flowers are its most recognizable features, its substantial taproot has also attracted the attention of traditional and contemporary herbalists for it’s nervine-like properties.
