Ingredients: stinging nettle, marshmallow root, wood betony, devil’s claw, california poppy, sage, gotu kola, passion flower, vegetable glycerin and distilled water.
Warning: Not recommended for use during pregnancy or nursing. Use with caution if you take blood thinners.
Directions: Shake well before use. Consume 2 droppers up tp twice a day. Use tincture within 2 years of opening.
Stinging Nettle (Urtica Dioica) has been used traditionally in folk medicine for many years as a topical applicant to battle nerve and joint pain, as the sting was thought to confuse nerve sensory pathways and pain signals. We’ve chosen to use it here for not only for that, but because it has strong anti-inflammatory properties. Inflammation can be a primary source of pain. Nettle is also chock full of essential vitamins and minerals.
Marshmallow Root (Althaea Officinalis) has a gentle, soothing effect on the entire body, specifically mucosal tissues. Not only is it also an anti-inflammatory herb, it also contains analgesic (pain relieving) compounds.
Wood Betony (Stachys Officinalis) is a stand out herb for it’s traditional use as a supporting herb for nervous system support. It is thought to have mild pain-relieving properties, as well as a calming effect on the whole body, soothing overactive nerves that cause both pain and anxiety.
Devil’s Claw (Harpagophytum Procumbens) may be one of the only herbs specifically indicated for musculoskeletal pain. It has anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties, as well as the potential ability to reduce sensitivity to pain by it’s effect on pain signaling pathways. It is also a powerful antioxidant!
California Poppy (Eschscholzia Californica) has both mild sedative and pain relieving properties. It is a nervine herb, meaning it supports the central nervous system, helping to calm overactive nerves.
