White Willow Bark Organic Herbal Tincture
White willow bark tinctured in 80 proof grain-free alcohol for a minimum of 8 weeks.
Willow bark has long been used for treatment of pain, fevers, and inflammation. Its active compound, salicin, is the original source of the synthetic derivative aspirin. The action of white willow is much slower than that of the synthetic drug, but is less likely to cause stomach problems other issues that occur from overuse of NSAIDs. We recommend taking this daily as a preventative, as it can take up to 8 hours to fully activate in your system upon first use.
Warnings: do not take if pregnant or nursing. Do not take if you have ulcers.
Directions: consume 1 to 2 tsp daily. Use tincture within 2 years of opening. Shake well before use.
