Immuno-Boost Child Friendly Immune Boosting Herbal Glycerite Blend

from $27.50

We’ve crafted this immune boosting blend with the whole family in mind! This blend is full of gentle but effective herbs tinctured in sweet vegetable glycerine instead of alcohol, this and the taste of delicious elderberry will make it more palatable for children. This tincture is perfect for back to school time and flu season! We’ve added some information about the individual ingredients and a dosing chart by weight below.

Warning: For ultimate safety, do not give to children under 25 pounds.

Recommended dosages:

  • Adult: 1 tsp of tincture or glycerine every 4-6 hours.

  • Children: add drops to 2 ounces of water or juice, 2 times a day.

  • Pounds of weight per child for consumption:

  • 25-49 pounds   5 drops

  • 50-74 pounds 10 drops

  • 75-99 pounds 15 drops

Mullein is a soothing respiratory herb that calms inflamed lung tissue while simultaneously loosening phlegm. It is excellent for that stubborn, lingering cough that can happen after a cold, flu or any respiratory virus. It is mild enough to not aggravate the sensitive lung tissue, unlike some other respiratory herbs.

Oregano contains carvacrol and thymol, two compounds that have antiviral properties. Test tube studies have shown that oregano is effective against 23 different species of bacteria!

Echinacea is a powerhouse when it comes to boosting the immune system. One of the most surprising things about echinacea is the fact that it can ease symptoms of and shorten the duration of colds. Research shows that upon first use, echinacea activates white blood cells to increase and mobilize. This in turn stimulates the immune system, causing the natural defense cells to be on the lookout for foreign invaders.

Elderberry is best known for having antiviral and immune boosting qualities. Helpful for preventing infections as well as shortening their duration. Studies have shown elderberry to be active against several influenza strains. They are also vitamin rich and tasty!

Rosehips are rich in vitamin C, antioxidants and bioactive compounds like phenols, lycopene, and ellagic acid, which are helpful in strengthening the immune system.
