Lung Expectorant Smokable Herbal Blend with Mullein

This blend contains a mixture of herbs with expectorant properties. When smoked or consumed as a tea, these herbs will help to break up stubborn mucus in the lungs, clearing airways for easier breathing. Note: These blends may be made into an herbal cigarette or mixed with traditional tobacco products, they may also be prepared as a tea! The weight of herbal products vary depending on which herbs you’re using, so we’re charging by bag size instead of ounces here. These bags are approx 4×3×1.5 in, packed as full as we can get em!

Ingredients: mullein, coltsfoot, peppermint, linden, thyme

Mullein (Verbascum Thapsus) has traditional use as a general lung tonic, due to its mucilage that helps to lubricate airways, making it easier to cough up congealed mucus and open up the lungs. The furry leaves also make for an easy to light smoke, and its aroma and flavor are extremely mild. 

Coltsfoot (Tussilago Farfara) is very similar in action to mullein, as it helps to moisten airways. It has a long history of use for those with chronic respiratory issues. Coltsfoot can speed up the recovery time of bronchial cilia, and even has antihistamine properties! It’s fluffy, soft leaves make for an easy burn when smoking. 

Peppermint (Mentha Piperita) not only has a wonderful taste and scent, it also helps to improve blood circulation and relax the body. The cool, refreshing feeling of mint can be soothing for lungs. 

Linden (genus Tilia) is a lovely, soothing herb that helps ease tension in the body and mind. It is an antispasmodic and can help soothe overactive lungs. Linden also contains astringent properties that help to dry up overproduction of mucus. 

Thyme (Thymus Vulgaris) contains a compound called thymol, which has antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties, which can help to combat irritants in the lungs. It also adds a rich flavor and aroma to the blend!
